He was IMing which he was not allowed to do. And he eventually killed himself because his girlfriend didn't want him and he was depressed.
- Most people commit suicide because of something happening with the use of technology.
- Why didn't his parents pay more attention??

Sexting Tragedy
Title: Sexting Tragedy
Summary: This was about a young 13 year old who killed her self. She sent topless pictures to a boy so that he would notice her. However, she didn't know that he would end up sending the pictures to everyone at their school. People from other schools soon found out she sent pictures and everything when down hill from there. She was even suspended for a week for her actions. She was so sad that she hung her self. Her mom found her there when she went to say goodnight.
Reflection: This is very very unfortunate and tragic. "Sexting" is becoming very popular and is becoming a very big problem. I feel really sad for her family. Kids are very cruel these days.
Evidence:
- "Sexting" is a very big contributor to teen suicide.
- Many teens "Sext" these days
Questions: Why did she feel that she had to send naked picture to get attention??
Did she have low self esteem??

Portrait of a Son's Suicide Bill's Story
Title: Portrait of a Son's Suicide Bill's Story
Summary: This was about a 14 year old bisexual teen named Bill. He finally came out to his parents and he was happy that they accepted him. They suggested that he go to as support group and he did, but left after 3 sessions. On the way to his 3rd session he met an man who said he had his own support group for youth going to the same things. Bill decided to go with him and the man ended up raping him. He went into a very depressing stage. He soon got out of it and was his old self again. Soon he got beat from people who didn't accept him and went into a depression again. He soon realized he couldn't cope with it and turned to suicide to solve his problems.
Reflection: This is very unfortunate and sad. I can believe how kids can be so cruel but parents?? Thats just a new thing to me. People sound just accept others and not judge. You can't judge someone until you look at your own self. If someone wants to like the opposite sex or the same thats theire business. They have no right to say something. Have you never heard of leaving people be?? That's obviously NOT what these people were doing. All i got to say is get a lofe people and stay out of others!!!Evidence:
- "It is difficult difficult to fully research LGBT youth suicide because many young lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgenders have not "come out." But studies indicate that lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth are up to four times more likely to attempt suicide than their heterosexual peers. And those who are rejected by their family are up to nine times more likely to attempt suicide than their heterosexual peers."
Questions: Why do parents make their children not be able to talk to homosexuals and transgenders??
Why do the parents act like little kids??

Title: Why Do Teens Try To Kill Themselves?
Summary: Well, teenagers turn to suicide when they feel they have no more hope in their situations. Most of those situations include being abused whether emotional or physical, bad relationships, feelings of rejection or loss, disappointing others, etc. A big influence in suicidal teens is depression.
Reflection: I feel that teen suicide is a very big deal now. When most teens feel pressure it becomes so overwhelming that they don't know how to cope. Parents should try to understand what their kids might be going through and take a load off of their children. I feel that most suicides are happening because of the home environment that they are in. This is happening everywhere and people need to start taking action.
Evidence:
"Suicide is the third leading cause of death among people 15-24"
- "It is the fourth leading cause of deaths between ages 10-14"
Questions:
Why if two teenagers are put into the same situation, one would think think of committing suicide?
What makes someone not be able to seem a different approach when dealing with a difficult situation?
